SCAR 16s, and 17s are now being produced in both the US, and Belgium. The markings style is the easiest way to tell from a distance. There are pictures in other threads, but basically the 16s/17s that are US made have markings in the same style as the SCAR 20s.

The scar for civilian come from belguim the scars for the military come from Fn USA except the scar 20 that one comes from America for both civilian and Military I prefer the Belgian guns myself. I’ve not had much luck with the FN USA guns or bbls.
