Students sometimes ask us whether or not they can submit different versions of the Common Application essay to different schools. So yes, you can absolutely change the essay, submit it to a school, change it, and submit it again.
How long does a clearing decision take?
Most of the Clearing process happens over the phone – it’s only the last step that requires a Clearing number and the ‘Add a Clearing Choice’ button on UCAS Track. If you had to be released by either your firm or insurance, you will need to wait for confirmation that this has been done, which may take up to 2 weeks.
Can you reuse your own personal statement?
You’ll need a new UCAS account, but you can reuse your personal statement – but make sure you update it to include anything that has changed since your last application. Some universities also have courses starting in January, which you normally apply for directly rather than through UCAS.
