Camping is the most popular way to visit BLACKEST OF THE BLACK! Wake up a short distance from the festival gates, stumble "home" after the show and say fuck you to traffic! Plus, let's be honest, this is cheaper and more fun than a hotel room.

Reserve your spot before they are all gone, availability is limited!

All Car and tent campers must be at least 18 years of age by May 26, 2017.

All RV campers must be at least 21 years of age by May 26, 2017.

  • 12’ x 12’ Camping Spot for Friday & Saturday night Tent only camping spots are a grass area with one designated overnight parking space near by. Holds up to 4 festival ticket holders. Only 1 camping pass is needed per vehicle. (no vehicles are permitted directly at camping space.)

  • No tiki torches, fireworks or any types of explosives or ammunition.
  • No metal tent stakes.
  • There is a zero tolerance policy for drugs and drug paraphernalia
  • Markers, pens, spray paint

  • No hoverboards or motorized scooters.
  • No tanks of compressed air, helium, nitrous
  • No video camers / professional cameras with detachable lens, ext.

THE RULES

  • All Campers MUST arrive together. Once your party is parked in the campgrounds, you will not be able to enter the campgrounds without a camping pass.
  • Each camper and their vehicle will be subject to search upon entry to the campsite.
  • Quiet time will be enforced from 2AM to 8AM each night.
  • All campers are expected to behave in a manner that is courteous to other campers.
  • Please obey all of the “No Trespassing” signs.
  • Animals are not allowed in the campgrounds or within the festival. Please seek accommodations for your pets in a local kennel or with caretakers during your time at Blackest of the Black. You will not be permitted onto the campgrounds with a dog.
  • Please don’t turn your vehicle into a giant advertisement! Any vehicle with ads, sponsorship, marketing or company logos will be turned away at the entrance. This does not apply to logos from car or RV rental companies.
  • No branded or logo’d pop-up canopies or tents are allowed.
  • Any prohibited items that are confiscated at any time of entry or throughout the duration of the event will NOT be returned. Please don't bring prohibited items.
  • Campers are expected to behave in a manner that is courteous to other campers and event staff members. These are your neighbors for the next two days, so please do your best to respect each other. All campers must abide by the BLACKEST OF THE BLACK CAMPERS CODE OF CONDUCT. All campers must be 18 years of age or older with proof of government issued ID. Each camper must have a festival and camping ticket.

CODE OF CONDUCT

BLACKEST OF THE BLACK is committed to creating a safe, memorable, and comfortable experience for our guests. In order to provide an environment where guests can enjoy the festival, we have instituted a BOTB CAMPING CODE OF CONDUCT inside the festival grounds and Camping area.
The following actions can result in a warning and/or ejection of camping party:
  • Irresponsible use of alcohol.
  • Public nudity, lewd behavior.
  • Accessing restricted areas without proper passes.
  • Taunting, bullying, abusive, disruptive language and or obscene gestures.
  • Moving RV or vehicle to another location after placement by festival staff.
  • Parking or extending any part of RV or tent in fire lanes or outside designated marked area.
  • Littering
  • Refusing to quiet music during enforced quiet hours.
  • Failing to cooperate/comply with campground safety officers.
The following actions will result in immediate ejection:
  • Relieving your bladder or bowels anywhere other than approved restrooms/port-a-potties. Please remember you’re in a shared space.
  • Fighting or engaging in any action that may harm, endanger, threaten or bring discomfort to anyone.
  • Engaging in sexual behavior in public.
  • Possession/use of illegal drugs.
  • Damage, destruction, vandalism or theft of any property.
  • If a guest participating in this behavior is uncooperative or a persistent offender, he/she will be removed from the festival site. In certain situations, the offender may be arrested.

CAMPING FAQ:

WHAT TIME CAN WE MOVE IN TO OUR CAMPING SPOT?
  • You can move in to your camping stop during the following times:
    • Friday, May 26, 2017 : 2:00 pm- 10:30 pm
    • Saturday, May 27, 2017 : 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
  • Once you are parked in a camping spot, campers and vehicles will only be permitted to check out of the campgrounds during designated hours. This is for your safety and the safety of your neighbors. If you need to leave for an emergency, please visit the CAMP HOST to escort your car out safely.
WHEN CAN I MOVE OUT OF MY CAMPING SPOT?
  • Sunday, May 28, 2017
  • All campers must exit by 12:00 pm (noon) on Sunday, May 28th.
  • For Safety Reasons, Campers and Vehicles will not be able to move in and out of the camogrounds.
  • If you need to leave in for an emergency and do not plan on returning to the festival, please contact the CAMP HOST to escort you out safely. Your car will not be admitted back in the Car Camping area once it exits. You will not be allowed to exit during lock down hours.
DOES EVERY PERSON THAT ARRIVES IN THE CAR WITH ME ALSO HAVE TO HAVE A TICKET TO GET IN TO THE CONCERT?
  • YES. Every single person that arrives in your car or RV must have a ticket to Blackest of the Black Fest. If you do not have a concert ticket you will not be allowed into the campgrounds or into the festival area.
CAN WE PARK OUR CARS NEXT TO OUR TENTS?
  • ONLY car and tent camping packages will permit your vehicle to be parked next to your tent area. All tent only camping passes will park their vehicles in the designated camping parking lot and bring their items to their alloted camping space.
WILL I BE ABLE TO RESERVE A CAMPSITE NEXT TO MINE FOR MY FRIENDS IF THEY’RE NOT ARRIVING UNTIL LATER?
  • Camping is on a first come first serve basis. We advise you and your friends all come together so you all can park next to each other. We are unable to reserve campsites and there are no saving spaces, no exceptions. Arrive together, camp together.
IF YOU CONFISCATE SOMETHING, CAN I GET IT BACK AT THE END OF THE WEEKEND?
  • All prohibited items that are confiscated at any point – whether at entry or throughout the weekend – will NOT be returned. Please carefully read what you can bring into the campgrounds and leave prohibited items at home.
ARE WE ALLOWED TO SLEEP IN OUR CARS/OVER-SIZED VANS?
  • No, this is not permitted. Sleeping in cars or vans can be a serious health risk.
WILL THERE BE A GENERAL STORE IN THE CAMPING AREA?
  • Yes! There will be a general store open for designated hours in the campgrounds . Items you can purchase will be basic camping goods, water, ice, simple snacks and basic first aid items such as medicine, band-aids, toiletry items and more.
MAY I BRING MY OWN PERSONAL GRILL OR COOKING APPLIANCE?
  • NO Charcoal, NO Open flames, and nothing that runs off a gas generator will be permitted .
IF I HAVE A CAMPING WRISTBAND, CAN I GO IN AN OUT OF THE FESTIVAL AREA, TO THE CAMPGROUND AREA AND BACK IN AT ANY TIME?
  • As long as the festival is open you can go back and forth from the campgrounds and the festival area freely.
  • Please note, you are not able to move your car from the campgrounds. There are no in an out privledges for vehicles from the campground area after you check in. Once your vehicle leaves the campground area it can not come back in. (This included tent only camping passes).
CAN I MOVE IN AND OUT OF THE CAMPGROUNDS WITH MY CAR OR MOTORCYLE?
  • No vehicles will be allowed to move in and out of the campgrounds once you are placed. This includes, Cars, Trucks, RVs, and Motorcycles. Please bring everything with you on your arrival that you will need for the weekend. There will be approved times that you can move out of your camping space during the day or 1 - 1.5 hours after the concert ends. You may pack up your camping gear during the day and move your vehicle to the general parking if you wish to leave prior to the end of the night camping check out times.

ALCOHOL FAQ:

CAN WE BRING ALCOHOL?
  • 1 case of beer (IN CANS) or box of wine (CARDBOARD OR PLASTIC ONLY) per person will be allowed in the camping area for personal consumption only (no vending) by attendees who are 21 years of age or older. No kegs or glass will be allowed. Beer will be sold in the festival site, but no drinks may be brought into the venue.
CAMPING SUGGESTIONS - WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH ME?
  • Your concert ticket! You must have your concert ticket to camp!
  • A tent (you'd be surprised!)
  • Plastic stakes or weights for your tent (metal stakes not permitted)
  • Tennis balls or caps for stakes used in the ground
  • Ice chest
  • Sleeping bags/blankets/pillows
  • Camping chairs
  • Trash bags
  • LOTS of water!!
  • Cash for food, merch and drinks
  • Clothing for all temperatures - the nights can be chilly. The average weather this time of year can range from 75°-85°, but temperatures can drop down to the 60’s or even mid 50’s at night. Please come prepared for temperature fluctuations.
  • Lotion Sunscreen/sunblock. No SPRAY allowed.
  • Food and drink can be brought inside the campgrounds.
  • Camping size propane for camping grills. (Charcoal grills & open flames not permitted)
  • Headlamps / Flashlights / Battery operated lanterns
  • Non-amplified (acoustic) musical instruments
  • Your happy, smiling face ready have fun!
  • All campers must be packed and vacated from the campgrounds by 12:00PM, Sunday, May 28th.
